On motor vans with an all-metal body:

2nd variant — on a gutter over an aperture right сдвижной body doors (fig. 1.2).

By buses:

2nd variant — in two places: on a gutter over an aperture right сдвижной body doors (fig. 1.2) and on back рейке roofs on the right side in the direction of the car (fig. 1.3).

ХТН — the international identification code of the manufacturer;

2705 — a car index;

4 — a code of modelling year (4 — 2004, 5 — 2005);

0140794 — a car serial number.

    Modelling year — the period equal on the average to calendar year during which cars with identical constructive signs are issued.

    Identification number of a body of cars is put under a cowl on the external panel передка on the left side in the direction of the car (fig. 1.1, a kind on an arrow "In")

Example of drawing of number of a body:

270500 — a body index;

4 — a code of modelling year;

0100125 — a body serial number.

Identification number of engines ZMZ is beaten out on the block of cylinders on the left side (fig. 1.4).

    Identification number of the block of cylinders is beaten out over identification number of the engine (ЗМЗ-4061, ЗМЗ-4063) or on the inclined platform formed by inflow under a flange of fastening of the oil filter (ЗМЗ-4025, ЗМЗ-4026).

Identification number of engines UMZ-4215 is beaten out on the block of cylinders on the left side.

Example of drawing of identification number of the engine:

4215СР — an engine index;

4 — a code of year of release;

0901271 — an engine serial number.

The variant of a complete set of the engine is designated by an alphanumeric code (last two signs on an index of the engine).
