The heating system is calculated on continuous work for a long time and provides a repeated exchange of air in a cabin, necessary speed and air temperature, temperature of surfaces of a cabin.

Cabin heating is provided with air which has been warmed up in a radiator of a heater 19 (fig. 10.22). External air passes through a lattice between a windscreen and a cowl, changes a direction and separates from rain water. Then air from a box 10 (fig. 10.23 see) air inlet gets to a casing of a heater and depending on an arrangement заслонок подмешивания arrives or through a radiator of a heater or directly in distributors of streams of air left 5 and right 9 (fig. 10.24 see).
Otopitelno-ventilating installation (ОВУ) consists of the case of a heater 11 (pиc. 10.22), including a casing 4 (fig. 10.24) and a cover of 1 casing, connected through a lining 6 скобами 7, distributors of a stream of air left 5 see and right 9, fastening to a casing and a cover of a casing of a heater screws 8, a radiator 19 (fig. 10.22 see), covers of a radiator 21, the electrofan 16, a cover of the fan 12, заслонок подмешивания external air, заслонок distributions of streams of air and заслонок the ventilation, located in case OVU and operated рейками 8 and 9 protective casings 10, excluding damage реек at installation.
On a cover of casing ОВУ the additional resistor 8 (fig. 10.23 see), providing three speed of rotation of the electrofan is established.
Heater fastening is made on an arm through rubber plugs by 11 two bolts 9 to a wall of a motor compartment and a bolt 3 (fig. 10.24 see) through the rubber plug to a cross-beam 19 (fig. 10.23 see) arm of fastening ОВУ.
The heater crane is put in action by the microelectric motor through a mechanical reducer; the crane has two positions — is completely open or is completely closed.
Radiator ОВУ is connected by a hose 23 (fig. 10.22) with the crane of management of a heater and with system of cooling of the engine hoses 15 see and 17 (fig. 10.23 see). Hoses are connected to hoses of a motor compartment through a holder 14 attached to a wall of a compartment by two nuts 16. In system of hoses of a heater the tee 12 for elimination of air stoppers in system of pipelines OVU is established at refuelling (replacement) by a cooling liquid of system of cooling of the engine.
ОВУ it is connected to channels of distribution of air, executed in the panel of devices through air lines 6 and 7 (fig. 10.23 see).

Management ОВУ is carried out by regulators 1, 2, 3 and 4 (fig. 10.25), the heating located on the control panel and ventilation (fig. 3.1, poses see. 14).
1 — the handle of a regulator of distribution of streams of air on a cabin:
— Air arrives to wind and to lateral glasses;
— Air arrives in area of a breast of the driver and the passenger;
— Air arrives on wind and lateral glasses, in a breast and in feet of the driver and the passenger;
— Air arrives only in feet of the driver and the passenger;
2 — the handle of a regulator of quantity of air arriving in a cabin. Has four positions:
— It is switched off;
— The minimum productivity of the fan;
— Average productivity of the fan;
— The maximum productivity of the fan;
3 — заглушка (for ГАЗ-2705) or the handle of a regulator of intensity of warming up of air in cabin ГАЗ-2705 of "Kombi" or in salon of buses
4 — the handle of a regulator of temperature of air in a cabin (the handle simultaneously operates the crane of a heater and заслонками подмешивания). Extreme left position of the handle (a wide part of a dark blue symbol) corresponds to a ventilation mode. In this position of the handle the heater crane is closed, and заслонками подмешивания, operated draught 18 (fig. 10.22 see), the channel of receipt of external air to a radiator of a heater is completely blocked and the ventilation channel is completely open. Intermediate and extreme right positions of the handle 4 (fig. 10.25) (a wide part of a red symbol see) corresponds to a heating mode. In this mode at handle turn on 9 ° clockwise the crane is opened, заслонками подмешивания the channel of receipt of external air to a radiator of a heater is partially opened and the ventilation channel (intermediate inclusion of system of heating) is partially blocked. At extreme right (clockwise) handle position the channel of ventilation and all stream of external air is completely blocked goes through a heater radiator.
For cabin heating it is necessary to open the heater crane, to turn the handle 4 (fig. 10.22) clockwise on a corner not less than 9 ° see and the further turn of the handle 4 to pick up comfortable temperature of air.
Hoarfrost and condensate elimination.
For fast removal of hoarfrost and a condensate from wind and lateral glasses it is necessary:
- To establish a regulator of distribution of air 1 (fig. 10.22) in position;
- Regulator of temperature of air 4 to establish in extreme right position (a wide part of a red symbol);
- Regulator of quantity of air 2 to establish on the maximum productivity of the fan.
For reception of a comfortable climate - it is necessary:
- To establish a regulator of distribution of streams of air 1 in the position chosen by you;
- Regulator of temperature 4 to establish desirable temperature of air (temperature of external air or thermal air from a heater);
- To turn a regulator of quantity of air 2 of position About in one of three positions, to receive desirable speed of receipt of air in salon.
The central and lateral ventilating lattices on the panel of devices have handles (levers) of management заслонками which moving it is possible to change a direction of streams of air, to increase or reduce quantity of arriving air before full closing of the channel of receipt of air.
For fast removal запотевания and обмерзания glasses establish the handle 1 in position of a direction of a stream of air on wind and lateral glasses, the handle 4 — in extreme right position (a wide part of a red symbol), and the handle 2 in extreme right (clockwise) position of the maximum speed of rotation of electrofan OVU.

Distribution of air streams in a cabin is carried out through air lines and branch pipes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 (fig. 10.26 see).
Lateral 2 and 5 (fig. 10.26) and the central branch pipes 3 and 4 обдува the driver see and control levers заслонками have the passenger. Their moving it is possible to change a direction of streams of air, to increase or reduce quantity of arriving air, up to full closing of the channel of its receipt.
The overall performance of system of heating depends on temperature of a cooling liquid in the engine which in a cold season is necessary for supporting within 85—100 ° With.
The ventilation system is intended for creation of a normal microclimate in a cabin at car operation in summertime of year.
In a cabin systems приточной and exhaust ventilation are provided. Compulsory forced ventilation is carried out through ОВУ at the closed windows, the roof hatch (at its presence) and the closed crane of a heater. For ventilation inclusion it is necessary to translate the handle 4 (fig. 10.25) in extreme left position (a wide part of a dark blue symbol) see and turn of the handle 2 to establish necessary speed of giving of air in a cabin. Extreme right position of the handle 2 corresponds to the maximum speed of rotation of the electrofan. Choose, turn of the handle 1, distribution of streams of air in a cabin. By means of control levers заслонками branch pipes to establish the most comfortable direction of air. Compulsory forced ventilation should use in hot weather at small speeds of movement of the car and on parking. At speeds of movement of the car above 50 km/h нриточная ventilation can be carried out at the switched off electrofan at the expense of high-speed подпора air. Forced ventilation is carried out also through опускные glasses of doors.
Exhaust ventilation is carried out through the cracks connected with atmosphere and located in the bottom part of doors of a cabin.
Check of a technical condition and maintenance service of otopitelno-ventilating installation (ОВУ)
Maintenance service ОВУ is reduced to periodic check of a technical condition of a radiator of a heater, the crane and hoses of system, electrofan work, заслонок ОВУ and branch pipes on the panel of the devices distributing and directing streams of air, submitted to a cabin.
At подтекании a cooling liquid of the engine in a cabin it is necessary to check up first of all reliability of fastening of hoses of system of heating by collars, tightness of a radiator and the heater crane. At leak detection in places of connections it is necessary to tighten coupling collars 13 (fig. 10.23 see). If the reason подтекания — a heater radiator (the liquid leaks from case OVU), it is necessary to remove a radiator (Dismantling and repair of system of heating »see«), to establish a place подтекания liquids and to eliminate a leak.
Radiator of a heater 19 (fig. 10.22 see) modular design, trubchato-lamellar with plastic tanks. The radiator core is made of aluminium tubes and aluminium cooling plates. From both parties of a core the metal bottom with a rubber lining is established. The lining condenses the ends of tubes, and the tank established on this lining is drawn in to a lining отгибными by short moustaches. In tubes are established screw plastic турбулизаторы for большего съема heat from a heater radiator.
If the leak is found out in a place of consolidation of tubes by a rubber lining, to eliminate поджатием отгибных short moustaches of a bottom of a tank. For this purpose it is necessary to establish reliably a radiator on a rubber rug and slightly to draw in a moustache of a metal bottom in a place подтекания. If the liquid leaks through the damaged tubes, the radiator should be changed for the new. In case of repair it is necessary to remove tanks, having unbent short moustaches of a bottom of a tank, and to put repair tubes of smaller diameter with the subsequent them дорнованием (i.e. with increase in internal diameter of tubes).
At infringement of tightness of the crane 22 (fig. 10.22 see) he is necessary for removing and examining. If the leak on connection of a cover with the case is found out, to tighten screws of fastening of a cover or to turn away screws and to replace a lining. For check of working capacity of the crane it is necessary to put a finger to the case of the crane and to turn the handle 4 (fig. 10.25 see) on 9-10 ° from extreme left position clockwise.
Thus a food on the electric drive of the crane moves and click of operation locking заслонки should be listened. If click is not present, the electric drive is faulty. It is necessary to replace the crane.
Electrofan OVU does not work - or works with the raised noise.
The reason of a stop of the electrofan 16 (fig. 10.22 see) can be infringement of power supplies of the fan, jamming of a rotor of the fan in the heater case, jamming of a shaft of the electric motor in bearings or unreliable contact in a socket of an electricity cable 14.
To eliminate jamming of a rotor of the fan, it is necessary to remove the electrofan, to be convinced that two скобы fastening of a flange of the electrofan 17 on a place and do not get jammed an electrofan rotor. It is necessary to turn a rotor and to be convinced that the electric motor shaft rotates freely. If rotation is complicated or the rotor does not rotate at all, replace the electrofan.
If at turn of the handle 2 (fig. 10.25 see) inclusions of the fan speed of a stream of air does not change, it is necessary to check up reliability of connection of resistance of 8 (plugs) to a plait of wires or to replace resistance.
Dismantling and repair of system of heating and ventilation
For removal of a radiator of a heater:
- To merge cooling liquid from system of cooling of the engine (3-4);
- To weaken collars of fastening of hoses 15 and 17 (see 10.23) to unions of a radiator 19 (fig. 10.22 see);
- To disconnect hoses:
- To turn away three screws 24 (fig. 10.22) fastenings of a cover of a radiator see and to uncover 21 with a lining 20;
- To take out a radiator of a heater 19 of the case 11.
Installation of a radiator of a heater is made upside-down.
For removal of the crane 22 (fig. 10.22) a heater with the electric drive is necessary for weakening хомугы fastenings of hoses to the heater crane to disconnect hoses and to remove the crane, preliminary having disconnected a food plait.
Crane installation is made upside-down.
For electrofan removal - it is necessary to open a cover of a ware box on the panel of devices. To turn away four screws of fastening of a ware box and to take out it together with a cover from a nest of the panel of devices.
Then to turn away two screws 15 (fig. 10.22) fastenings of a cover of the electrofan see and to remove ee c heater cases. To disconnect a wire of connection of the electric motor 14 (to disconnect колодку wires), to remove a sealant of electricity cables 13 and to take out the electrofan from the heater case.
Electrofan installation is made upside-down.
For control panel removal removal of the panel of devices (work is spent at servicing deport) is necessary.
Infringement of distribution of streams of air from ОВУ

One of causes of infringement of distribution of streams of air is easing скоб 1 (fig. 10.22 see) fastenings of covers 6 and 7 тросовых draughts of a drive for an arm 3. As a result at turn of the handle 1 (fig. 9.25 see) draught is bent, and заслонка does not work. Скобу (скобы) it is necessary to fix reliably in arm apertures, and in case of their breakage to replace.
Other cause of infringement of distribution of air is wrong position заслонок in distributors of air 5 and 9 (fig. 10.24 see). For elimination of the given lack it is necessary: the handle 1 (fig. 10.25 see) to put in position обдува wind and lateral glasses, thus the lever 2 (fig. 10.22 see) axes заслонки should be in extreme right position, and the lever 4 — in extreme left position (clockwise). If it does not occur, it is necessary to release рейку (рейки) 8 and 9 of a clamp 5, to put the lever (levers) in specified above position and again to fix рейки in clamps.
