Removal from the car of a regulator of pressure and its repair are carried out in the event that adjustment it is impossible to achieve its correct work.
For regulator removal it is necessary:

- To disconnect the bottom end of a rack 24 (fig. 8.4 see) from an arm of the back bridge («Adjustment of a regulator of pressure» see);
- To disconnect pipelines and to muffle their caps of valves of prorolling;
- To disconnect a regulator from an arm 8, having turned on two nuts with spring washers.
Dismantling of a regulator of pressure - is necessary for making in a following order:
- To turn out a bolt 3, to take out a persistent pin 2 and to release the end of a loading spring 12. To take out an axis 4 and to remove press the lever 1, without breaking at dismantling of position of an adjusting bolt 11;
- To remove a protective cover 22,
- To turn out the plug of 20 fastenings of the case of a regulator;
- To take out a returnable spring 19 and a spring washer, and then for a shaft to take the piston 21 with a sleeve 14 and to take out a spring 13;
- To remove from a sleeve a clamping spring 16 and to take out a ball 17 of a sleeve nest;
- To remove a lock washer of an operating cone 15, a flat and spring washer and then an operating cone.
The piston should be taken out from a sleeve when it is necessary for replacement of faulty details.
After dismantling of a detail of a regulator it is necessary to wash out in spirit or a pure brake liquid, attentively to examine, replace defective details, plentifully to grease with a fresh brake liquid and to collect in return sequence.
Insufficient tightness of the ball valve can be a possible cause of defect of a regulator. In that case easy blows of a hammer through copper or aluminium оправку follows подчеканить deepening in a sleeve of a regulator a ball.
Working capacity of a regulator after assemblage should be checked up at the special stand with manometres on an input and an exit of a regulator and the device creating pressure.
Pressure of a liquid upon an exit from a pressure regulator should be approximately in 2,8 times below pressure upon an input. At check, without dumping the specified pressure of a liquid, smoothly to press a loading spring 12 for effort creation on the piston 21. Thus pressure upon an exit should increase that specifies in correct work of a regulator. At creation of certain effort pressure upon an input and an exit should be balanced.
